Photo of Chef Kit, culinary leader at Mind, Body and SpoonsHi, welcome to the ‘Body’ section of Mind, Body and Spoons!

This section contains useful information for supporting your body on its chronic illness journey. Whether that means CFS/ME, MCAS, Fibromyalgia, Long Covid, or any other prolonged illness that has a significant effect on your day to day life.

In case you haven’t read the ‘About’ section, the Body section of MBaS is curated by Chef Kit, you can read more about her here.

What’s in The Body Section?

On these pages we’ll be focusing on supporting your body through eating healthy, nutritious, and above all, tasty food! The kind of food you want to eat! For those of use with long term illnesses, being faced with dishes of uninviting, uninspiring and bland food really is salt in the wound. No ‘body’ wants that.

What we do want is;

  • effective cooking methods that save us energy
  • tasty and appetising meals that encourage and support our bodies
  • recipes designed to be easy to cook, with available ingredients
  • practical and realistic advice on how to manage our food stocks to avoid waste (financial and physical)

Does that sound familiar?

That’s great if it does, you’ve found the right place to get practical, real, and free advice on how to make your life easier and tastier!
